A great place to find new military clothing, footwear and accessories. We carry camping, fishing, hunting, archery, motorcycle clothing and gear, women's and men's clothing, backpacks and duffles. Dickies and Carhartt, safety, insulated and uninsulated footwear. If you can think of it, we probably sell it!

How long have you been in business?
We have been in business since 1949, 64 years.
What is your primary product or service?
One of our largest departments is our Military clothing and accessories. That is how it started and that is what we focus on, although, we have added many different categories such as Carhartt Workwear, Dickies Workwear, Levis, hunting clothing and gear, camping and fishing equipment, cast iron cookware, men's, women's and kid's clothing, footwear and much, much more.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
In 1947, Al Finer returned to Denver after completing his military service during World War II in the Marine Corps. Al decided that he wanted to continue to be involved with military goods as he was during the war. With $500, Al opened his first surplus store. While the products sold and the locations of the stores have changed over the years, Al's overall philosophy has always remained the same. "Give the customer the highest quality products and service for the lowest possible price." As Al said, "Any store can say they sell for less. But our prices, service and having the goods in stock are what set us apart from the rest."
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Experience, customer service and the wide variety of products that we have available.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have two locations. 3524 S. Broadway, Englewood, Co. and 7560 Pecos, Denver, Co. (Pecos and the Boulder Turnpike). No plans to expand at this time. We also have an outlet store located just 2 doors from the Broadway store. There we sell all of our motorcycle gear, discontinued and closeout merchandise for great low prices. Our Englewood store looks small from the outside, but once you get inside it is much larger than expected.

Our Englewood store is located at Hwy. 285 (Hampden Ave.) and Broadway. It is easily accessible from I-25 or Santa Fe. Our Denver store is at Pecos St. and the Boulder Turnpike.
What type of payments do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards or cash.
Which areas do you service?
People all over the world have shopped with us just from word of mouth. We serve all of the greater Denver metro area and beyond.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
The owners are Al's children. His son is the person that oversees all aspects of the company.
What are your hours of operation?
Monday through Saturday, 8:00AM to 9:00PM and Sunday, 10:00AM to 5:00PM. We are only closed one day per year and that is Christmas, otherwise, there is someone here to assist the customers with there journey through our store.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
That our people are friendly and customer service is great.
