What is your primary product or service?
I will shoot pretty much anything, but my general services are candid and senior portraits, weddings, pet and animal photography, outdoor events like car shows, and automotive photography.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I've had an on-and-off passion for photography since I was a kid. About 6 years ago, I started shooting stock photography (unfortunately, in stock photography, it is a lot of the same stuff, lit the same way - an apple becomes just another apple). I decided to move to working with people and haven't gone back since (but I do still make a little off of my old stock photos).
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Like most photographers, I try to work with the client to create the images they are looking for. But every photographer has their own style and vision, and that is what separates a good photographer from a run-of-the-mill photographer. There are plenty of good photographers out there, but, with the advent of digital, there are just as many hacks calling themselves professionals who shoot-and-burn. A good photographer will always adjust lighting and color and crop photos for the best effect. That is what I include in my basic package.
Which areas do you service?
I work primarily in the Arvada/Wheat Ridge/Westminster area. However, I will travel throughout the Denver Metro area or beyond, but there may be a travel charge if it is much out of the mentioned areas.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
My wife and I work together. She handles most of the advertising while I do the photographic work.
What are your hours of operation?
I am available on evenings or weekends.
